Rhodes Central Penthouse: A Sky-High Sanctuary
Perched on the 45th floor of Billbergia’s newest Rhodes Central tower, the view from the penthouse does all the talking. The Parramatta River curves below, the Sydney skyline glitters in the distance, and suddenly you understand what people mean by "room with a view." Large open living space, floor-to-ceiling glass and panoramic views that shift with the light. To complete the picture and celebrate the launch, the furnishings needed to honour the space, not announce themselves.
In partnership with Billbergia, we approached each room as a study in restraint selecting each piece to complement the premium finishes and expansive layout. Custom fabric selections, carefully sourced marble, considered proportions. Our team managed every detail from conception through installation, ensuring a cohesion that feels inevitable rather than designed.
A generous modular sofa in soft, light-toned fabric anchors the open-plan living space, built for family life and entertaining in equal measure. Nested coffee tables pair warm timber with cool marble, echoing the herringbone floors and stone details throughout while maintaining a sense of understated refinement.
Undoubtedly the best seats in the house - two curved accent chairs frame the view, their rich neutral tones grounding the eyes before it travels to the horizon. Between them sits a side table in striking Rosso Levanto marble - the single gesture of boldness, its dramatic veining adding personality without stealing the show from that skyline.
The dining space centres on an oval table with a custom marble top - selected for the way natural light enhances the unique patterns. Surrounded with plush, dark velvet chairs - the setup balances everyday practicality with elegant luxury. The kind of setting where conversations linger and the skyline becomes incidental.
From the cosy media room setup to all the little details in between, everything was chosen to complement the architecture, not compete with it. The penthouse now feels complete - a genuine sky-high sanctuary.
